It’s About Time is the biography about founding Toto member/drummer and studio recording icon Jeff Porcaro, who passed away in 1992 at age 38. The book includes interviews with Porcaro through the years by journalist and friend Robyn Flans, as well as interviews with family members and colleagues – including other Toto band members, Bruce Springsteen, Ron Howard, Donald Fagen, Jackson Browne, and some of the industry’s greatest musicians collected through the years.
About Author
Robyn Flans has been a Los Angeles-based music journalist since 1980, working for such publications as Modern Drummer, Mix Magazine, Country Weekly, People Magazine, and many others. She has authored six music books, including two on legendary drummer Jeff Porcaro and Lucky Drummer, about The Tonight Show’s Ed Shaughnessy.
